Educational Qualification

  • A prospective Candidate must possess a Degree in Law from a University recognized by law in India & Will have to pass the vernacular (Gujarati) language proficiency test.
  • Those candidates who have cleared their Secondary (SSC) or Higher Secondary (HSC) examination with subject of Gujarati, shall not be required to pass aforementioned examination.

Age Limit Details

Candidates in the General Category must not be older than 35 on the deadline for submitting their online applications; candidates in the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), or Economically Weaker Sections must not be older than 38 months.

Workers in the courts or other allied departments will be uniformly granted a relaxation of the upper age limit for a maximum of five years, or for an equivalent number of years that the employee has served, whichever is less.

Charges and Payment Method:

Candidates in the General Category must pay an examination fee of Rs. 2000 plus bank charges, while candidates in the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, and Economically Weaker Sections must pay Rs. 1000 plus bank charges through the “Print Application / Pay Fee” Menu option through SBI e-Pay, which is available on the HC-OJAS Portal.
